Serpent is set to release a new, 1/10th scale 2WD buggy entitled the Spyder SRX-2. Designed by former 1/8th scale 2WD World Champion Billy Easton, Serpent created this 2WD buggy from a blank slate, wanting it to be their own car and not a photocopy of what’s currently out there.

The Spyder SRX-2 RM is all about performance, featuring big bore, 12mm shocks, adjustable rear-differential height and a unique, 3-pad slipper clutch. Check out some of these other cool features:

• High performance race geometry
• Rear motor design
• Unique steeringblock design
• Innovative shocktower design
• Highly Efficient Steering ackermann
• Narrow composite Chassis design
• Low, cab forward body

Initial reports state that Serpent has decided on making this a RM (rear motor) car at first, but will follow it up with a MM (mid motor) release soon.
