Tamiya has announced the re-release of one of the most iconic 4WD off-road buggies that ever left the Tamiya factory; the Egress. While it does share quite a few parts with the original, it has been updated with some modern parts to bring it up to speed with modern battery and motor technologies.

The Egress 2013 includes new ball differentials, universal joints, center one-way and a long wheelbase, carbon fiber-reinforced chassis. High capacity shocks help provide excellent damping when running off-road. Hybrid spike tires are wrapped around lightweight wheels on the both the front and rear of the Egress.
