I am really interested in the thunder tiger e-mta but am worried about,parts support now and a couple of years in the future. I have been looking at the e-revo for a few weeks but waiting to make the financial plunge.. Thought I may have found an alternative in this model? Ay thoughts?
As much as I like the TT E-MTA, the parts support could be a pretty big issue. I’m pretty sure TT America will have the parts you need IF you need any, but you’ll have to go online to order and then wait X amount of days to get the parts.
The E-Revo is a fantastic truck and, since it’s a bit more popular, you should be able to find parts at any one of your local hobby shops. This means less downtime waiting to get your truck back up and running.
Either choice is good for the fun factor, so it’s just a matter of whether or not you’re willing to wait for the parts.
