Team Losi 1/8-Scale 8ight-E 2.0 Race Roller

Team Losi 8ight Race Roller

The 8IGHT-E 2.0 Race Roller is a competition buggy chassis that has been hand-built and tuned to exacting specifications. The 8IGHT-E 2.0 Race Roller offers several innovative design elements, a Tuned Flex Technology chassis, lightened shock towers, an updated suspension geometry, a race-inspired body design and more. You can be sure your 8IGHT-E 2.0 Race Roller is ready for serious competition as soon as you open the box.

Features:
Heavy -Duty Dogbones and Outdrives
With the increased demands of 1/8-scale buggy racing, Team Losi Racing reengineered the Dogbones and Outdrives of the 8IGHT-E 2.0 Race Roller to stand up to the abuse. These heavy-duty components have been designed to withstand the abuse associated with serious off-road competition.

Lightened Shock Towers
The alloy front and rear shock towers on the 8IGHT-E 2.0 Race Roller have been strengthened and lightened at the same time. By optimizing the design for rigidity, Team Losi Racing engineers were able to reduce the weight for better on-track performance without sacrificing strength.

Hard-Anodized Aluminum Motor Mount
Built to stand up to the intense torque offered by today’s brushless motors, the motor mount in the 8IGHT-E 2.0 Race Roller is constructed from hard-anodized aluminum. This heavy-duty, lightweight design guarantees proper gear and pinion alignment every time the motor is adjusted or reinstalled.

Tuned Flex Technology (TFT) Chassis
Extended 2mm from the original, the 8IGHT-E 2.0 Race Roller chassis design offers added stability and handling, the ability to carry more speed into and out of corners, and glide across washboard sections. Tuned Flex Technology provides significant handling gains by responding precisely to changes in terrain without sacrificing balance and grip.

Updated Suspension Geometry
The suspension on the 8IGHT-E 2.0 Race Roller features numerous shock mounting locations for several options in adjusting the suspension setup. The front carrier also features two camber link positions while the rear has four, allowing for even greater customization to varying track conditions.

Precision Steering Geometry and Servo Saver
The engineers at Team Losi Racing have managed to increase the consistency of the servo saver’s operation by further tweaking the steering geometry. Additional gains in steering precision were made by incorporating a new, pressed-steel bushing in the Ackerman brace for more freedom of motion.

Heavy -Duty Battery Tray with Secure Straps
The battery tray on the 8IGHT-E 2.0 Race Roller has been designed to place battery packs in an optimal position for proper balance and center of gravity. The tray accommodates 3S, 4S and 5S LiPo battery packs, all held securely in place with hook and loop straps that help protect your investment.

Included Tuning Parts
Additional tuning parts that would otherwise be expensive options are included in the package. A complete selection of front and rear sway bars, as well as optional spring sets and an alternative Ackerman steering rack give you a range of tuning tools never seen in a competition package before. A comprehensive setup sheet and tuning guide help you use these and all tuning parts for the best results.
