AVID RC Lightweight Aluminum Chassis for the XRay T4 ’16

AVID RC has developed a chassis for the XRay T4 ’16 that is designed to increase performance on high to medium bite track conditions. This chassis starts out with a 2mm, 7075-T6 aluminum chassis that has been narrowed to 82mm to allow for a deeper roll in the corners. Cutouts on both the top and bottom help increase flex while reducing weight. A battery slot has been included to keep the battery tape safe should the chassis come in contact with the track. The motor mount area has been changed as well to increase flex and the chassis shape is smoothed to keep droop screws platforms from digging into the track.
