Axial Racing created the platform with their Grave Digger MT a few weeks back; now they’ve added one of GD’s toughest full scale competitors, MAX-D!
This truck is based on the SMT10 chassis and includes a black, tube frame chassis with multiple pivot points for suspension tuning, AR60 OCP-Axles, heavy duty C-hubs and hydraulic ram-style steering links. A waterproof receiver box keeps things dry should the terrain get wet and an easy-access battery tray allows quick battery changes for extended fun times.
MAX-D comes equipped with a 27T brushed motor that pulls its power from Axial’s AE-5 waterproof ESC. A metal-geared steering servo ensures quick and precise steering and it’s all controlled by a Tactic 3-channel TTX300 radio system.
The body is spot on awesome and comes with plug-in spikes that are designed to ‘pop’ off in the event of a crash. This helps protect the body from cracking. A driver figure with racing helmet is also included.
I can see the rivalries forming now – Grave Digger vs MAX-D. Can’t wait to get one!
