Looks like there’s another option for big power thanks to this new Mamba Monster X from Castle Creations!
This new Mamba Monster X is now capable of handling 8S of LiPo power, meaning you can now make almost any RC car (up to about 25lbs) an absolute land missile!
This Monster X 8S has Castle’s standard running modes – sensorless, sensored or SmartSense – and includes features like an integrated adjustable BEC, CRYO-Drive technology (monitors internal heat and minimizes usage of certain functions if not needed), CNC-machined aluminum case with 40mm cooling fan, data logging and is completely waterproof.
These features are just the tip of the iceberg though – you get quite a bit of tech in this tiny(ish) ESC. Here’s a few more fun facts about the Mamba Monster X 8S:
