H2 Racing Development FWD Conversion for the Tamiya TRF419 | CompetitionX

H2 Racing Development FWD Conversion for the Tamiya TRF419 | CompetitionX

With all the new FWD chassis’ coming out, it’s nice to see companies also focusing on conversion kits for pre-existing cars – like this cool Tamiya TRF419 FWD conversion kit from H2 Racing Development.

This kit includes everything you need to take your 4WD TRF419 and re-invent it as a FWD:
• 2.5mm chassis
• 2.0mm deck
• 3.0mm front and rear damper stay
• 3.0mm bumper plate
• Batteries holder (Come with screw)
• Aluminium Servo mount
• Japan made MBL front belt

The conversion mocks many of the current high-end layouts; servo, motor, ESC and receiver near the front (behind the steering). The battery has two layout positions; horizontal or vertical (shorty batteries only, however).

The swap is pretty straightforward and will work with Tamiya’s TRF419, TRF419X and TRF419XR.
