HB’s D216 has been spotted a quite a few races lately, however when pressed for a release date, the HB team had ‘no comment’. Well, that day appears to be getting closer as HB has just released a slew of info about this long awaited 2WD buggy.
It will be based on a MM (mid-motor) design, perfect for all the high-grip racing tracks that are popping up. The backbone will be carbon fiber and will features several different, adjustable battery positions. Carbon fiber side braces are also utilized to help control flex. The D216 will use a 3-gear transmission, threaded, 12mm Big Bore V2 shocks, roll on a full set of bearings and include all the must-have tuning adjustments: camber, track width, ride height, multiple camber links, etc.
