If you have a large scale vehicle, you’re going to want to take a look at these new servos from Hitec. The HS-1100WP is a monster of a servo, featuring steel gears, shielded cases and a waterproof design. It’s extremely powerful, using a 5-pole carbon brushed motor to swing gear.
Speed it good, .26 sec/60° at 11.1v and .19 sec/60° at 14.8v. Torque is off the charts, pumping out 1167oz/in on a 11.1v LiPo. Think that number is impressive, how about when you hook it up to 14.8v; now you have a whopping 1528oz/in of torque!
All this power comes at a price, however. Estimated street price for this super servo is right about $560. Yes, for one.
