HPI D216 2WD Offroad Buggy

HPI D216 2WD Offroad Buggy

We’ve seen pictures, we’ve seen sneak peeks – but now it’s time to finally SEE HPI’s D216 on store shelves. Yup, it’s finally here, the 2WD offroad buggy that has already racked up multiple ROAR National Championships is about to be released.

The one thing about this buggy is the fact that it’s a bit, oh, un-traditional in design. A carbon fiber plate is the backbone for the bulkheads that are supported by triangulated shock towers. A triple-slipper clutch is standard as are the adjustable, 2-piece caster blocks and mid-motor 3 gear transmission. Other interesting tuning options are the multiple servo, wing and battery positions.

This buggy dares to be different, but as we’ve seen on track it’s about to make different a good thing.
