Looking for the next big thing? How about just the next thing that is BIG! Then check out Kraken RC’s latest creation, the Vekta.5 Ultra 4 Class 1500 Unlimited Buggy!
This huge buggy is modeled straight after the 1:1 Ultra 4 Class 1500 buggies, including features like a full roll cage, rear solid axle with trailing arms (both CNC-machined), independent front suspension a bulletproof, shaft-driven 4WD system.
The motor and transmission sit as low as possible in the rig and the suspension is damped by MEGA-BORE (WAY bigger than big bore) shocks that feature some uber-thick, 8mm shafts. Beadlock wheels grip the soft, all-terrain Dominator tires.
The Vekta.5 will come in two different configurations:
• ARTR/No motor with 2 KRAKEN TS-555HV High Torque/Voltage Servos – 555 inch-oz (40kg)
• ARTR/with 29cc motor and 2 KRAKEN TS-555HV High Torque/Voltage Servos – 555 inch-oz (40kg)
This rig will be available in early 2016. Price is not yet available.
