Redcat Racing has posted a new ride on their website – the Kaiju. It is slated as a 1/8 scale Monster Truck that comes in RTR form and is capable of running on 6S!
Not much else is known about this truck yet, but first inspection shows a 4-wheel independent suspension, big bore shocks with lower covers, aluminum arm mounts (or braces) and huge knobby tires wrapped around some great looking wheels (that appear to use 17mm hexes). Actually love the additional Redcat logo on the wheels – looks cool!
Being 6S capable, I’m going with one of their large scale chassis layouts that loaded with an 1/8 scale brushless system. I’m pretty sure power is not going to be an issue.
Body is a bit blocky, but if that’s an issue I’m sure there are plenty of aftermarket ones that will fit.
Always love me some big MT action. I’ll have to see about getting one of these to give it a go!
