The laydown transmission in the Team Associated B6 buggy is a great addition to the performance of the car – the only downside is there’s no gear cover to protect the spur gear. Schelle Racing has remedied that by designing a new, 3D printed cover that attaches to their new aluminum motor plate keeping the spur (and body) safe from damage.
The 3mm aluminum motor plate mates is anodized either blue or black with silver chamfered edges and has deep pockets machined into it to aid in cooling. Additional mounting holes are provided to attach the plastic cover.
