Serpent has released their newest Formula 1 car, the F110-SF3.
The F110-SF3 has some pretty major advancements, the most major being a narrow 2.5mm aluminum chassis. Hanging off both sides are carbon fiber ‘wings’; extensions to the chassis to allow more room for electronics. There are also mounting holes on the wings for adding additional weight.
Another change is the carbon fiber suspension plate up front. It provides a much stiffer solution, allowing the front suspension to do the work without any flex.
Finally, new front and rear wings are included. While they are the same in design, the are made from a more flexible composite to handle collisions better.
These upgrades should really make this car amazing on high-grip surfaces like carpet or turf! Looking forward to giving it a try!
