Spektrum S6240RX High Speed Digital Servo with Integrated Receiver

Spektrum S6240RX High Speed Digital Servo with Integrated Receiver

I’m sure you’ve heard of companies trying to integrate two electronic components into one to save on valuable chassis space; ESC and receiver combos, motor and ESC combos … well how about a servo and receiver combo!

Yup, you heard that right! Spektrum has come up with the first digital servo that has an integrated receiver; the Spektrum S6240RX.

This digital servo side of this equation rocks some healthy numbers; 208oz of torque (at 6v) and a speed of .08 seconds. It rides on a full set of bearings and includes an all-metal geartrain.

Mounted in the same case is a 2-channel DSMR receiver that is capable of 5.5ms transmissions. The two ports are located on the side (at the bottom); an ESC input port and a bind port. The antenna sticks out the front of the servo where the lead would be.

This setup is going to be great in vehicles that are short on space, like the TLR 22. Can’t wait to see how they work!
