T-Works has announced even MORE new parts for the Tamiya TC-01 Formula E car.
There are 3 new parts – let’s take a quick look at them:
These aluminum suspension mounts replace the stock plastic parts and come machined from quality aluminum. They are anodized black with silver chamfers and include swivel balls for the hinge pins. They reduce flex as well as give a solid mounting point for the hinge pins. They are sold as a set of 4.
TE-TC01-H T-Works Aluminum Suspension Mounts
These suspension mounts are the same as the ones above but feature a +1mm difference in the hole placement. These can be used to raise or lower the hinge pin, or even mix them to give your car some kickup. They are sold in pairs and include swivel balls for the hinge pins.
TE-TC01-H1 T-Works Aluminum Suspension Mounts +1
The final new part (for now) is this aluminum front spool unit. It comes with the aluminum center piece, a pair of outdrives and cross pins. It appears to use a dual-pin setup on each side to keep the outdrive on – not entirely sure. However, this is a great option for locking the front diff for the ultimate performance on your TC-01!
