Team Associated’s new Octalock spur gears were introduced with the B74.1 buggy, adding an 8-sided gear and pad system for maximum holding and engagement.
This system ensures a more consistent slipper pad function. They are also 100% backwards compatible, meaning this setup can be used with the following AE rides: RC10B6.2, RC10B6.2D, RC10T6.1, RC10SC6.1, RC10B74, RC10B6 series, RC10B64 series, RC10B5 series, and RC10B4 series.
The slipper pads are also backwards compatible, but must be used with the Octalock spur gears.
