The Toyz.com has come out with a new Shock/ Hex Driver stand, a pretty cool product that is designed for those that like multi-use desktop tools. This futuristic holder does double duty; it can be used as a shock stand when rebuilds are necessary or a 4-piece tool holder, great for time when space is at a premium.
I love the shock holder idea, but what sets this off for me is the fact that when I’m doing a build (or perhaps maintenance, I typically only need 3 tools – a 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 2.5mm – maybe even a 7.0 nut driver. This would make a great addition to my mobile workspace, maybe taping it (or adding a magnet) underneath to keep it from toppling over.
