When it comes time for maintenance, you want things to be as easy as possible (I know I do). One of my biggest cars to work on is also one of the most tedious…the HPI Baja 5-series. To do any motor work…let’s say, the clutch, you need to remove a ton of screws, lift this up and out of the way, slide that over and twist that there to the left…and that’s just to get TO the clutch!
Vertigo Performance has just sent over a video of their new 1-piece Clutch Carrier unit. This super-smart design allows you to basically remove 1/2 the screws in 1/2 the time to get to the clutch assembly! It’s quite brilliant and will make working on your clutch (or removing the engine) so much more easier. I actually have one of these on both my 5B and 5T and can tell you they work great.
