Frank Root Wins SDRC Grand Opening Race
Losi’s Frank Root took the win in the Pro 2 Modified SC class at the SDRC grand opening race in San Diego. SDRC is the newest track to grace the San Diego RC scene, but the only indoor track in years. Using a Losi XXX-SCT with TLR Tuned Kit Frank was the driver to beat by securing TQ six seconds ahead of the competition and taking the overall win.

Tekin Dominates at the 2011 AMS Shootout 2.0!
The 2011 Alabama Manufacturer’s Shootout 2.0 was again hosted in Cullman, Al. Tekin team driver Alan Burton was our host for this event. Once again it proved to be a race not to be missed. Top pro drivers from all over the world came to compete against each other in both electric and nitro classes.

Hébert and Cuffs Sweep ROAR Region 2 Championships
Jackson R/C in Jackson, NJ held the 2011 ROAR Region 2 On-Road Championships on June 18. The same venue will host the ROAR Nationals later this summer, so this event was the perfect opportunity to test in full race conditions. The weather cooperated, which kept the track in great shape throughout qualifying and the main events.

Jefferies and Brown Win Reedy Cotswold National
In honor of the late Mike Reedy, round #2 of the UK national series was renamed the Reedy Cotswold National. Even with rain predicted for the weekend, drivers showed up in force to compete at this special round and score maximum points towards the championship.
