A new electric offroad points series is breaking ground in San Diego December 1st called the Top Notch Series with title sponsor Jconcepts. The seven stop tour with three throw out rounds is sure to capture a broad range of radio controlled car enthusiasts from all tracks and skill levels. Top Notch Series (TNS) offers raffle prizes, next level racing, T-shirts and awards that live up to the name. With the announcer to match Erik “notch” Johnson will be calling the action from the booth, he has worked with JBRL, ROAR, Rc Pro Series and Head Announcer at West Coast Raceway.

TNS will have a custom plaques manufactured out of Jconcepts products including car stands, pit mats and shock stands as another innovative mark of quality brought to you by the series per round. Each round offers raffles prizes from the sponsors including Schuur Speed motors, custom painted bodies, Jconcept tires and certificates, car kits, plaques and cash prizes for the “Money” classes which serve as the highest skill level.
The Top Notch Series is an exciting new addition to the offroad electric racing scene and is sure to be a “must make” on your race calendar this upcoming season.

This one day saturday series race occurs once a month at the top tracks in Southern California. The first stop at SDRC is less then a month away, doors Open at 6am and racing starts at 9am for every event. Racers are encouraged to signup the day prior to the event at the host track or the morning the day of. First entry is $30 and any additional class only $20. The money classes have an additional $5 fee which is paid back to the top two drivers the day of each event. We are looking forward to an action packed first season of the Top Notch Series! Every round of the series will be broadcast on the internet via Liverc and race reports from Rcinsider.com.
