Matsukura Scores World Championship No. 29 for Reedy

Naoto Matsukura scored his third straight 1:12 World Championship title and an unprecedented 29th World Championship for Reedy at the MACH indoor circuit in Heemstede, The Netherlands.

A Reedy 6500mAh LiPo battery powered Naoto to the pole position where he launched his assault against the world’s top 1:12 racers with a win in A Main leg one. His main competition came in the form of teammate Andy Moore, who in leg two evened the overall score at one win apiece heading into a decisive leg three. Ultimately, the two drivers tied on points with Naoto’s leg one time bettering Andy’s leg two time, giving the young Japanese star his third title in a row.

Always a battery battle, 1:12 racing showcases both drivers and equipment. Reedy LiPo batteries delivered more than enough power and duration to allow both drivers to concentrate on precision driving with no second-guessing strong finishing power.

Congratulations to both drivers for their impressive performances and for making it 29 World Championships for the world-renowned Reedy brand.
