MIP Factory Driver Steven Hartson Takes Double TQ/Wins in both Stock Buggy and Truck! Five other MIP Drivers Litter the Top 3 in Expert/Sportsman Classes!

Yet another fantastic weekend for Team MIP, and this time at the 2013 JConcepts Stock Nationals held at OCRC Raceway in Huntington Beach, CA. MIP Team drivers Steven Hartson, Ryan Cavalieri, Mike Squid Squillace, Matt Olson, Matt Gilbert, and Kevin Motter took home hardware in all classes including Stock Truck, Stock Buggy, and Stock SC! But all weekend long, one Team Mates car was being ogled over in the pits! This Driver was Factory Fast MIP/AE Team Driver Steven Hartson who was equipped with MIP’s new and soon to be released Light Weight Drivetrain parts! To get a good back-to-back test between OEM Steal Drivetrain vs. MIP C-CVD™ Aluminum technology, Steven ran the first two qualifiers with steel and the second two quals with aluminum MIP C-CVD™’s and outdrives. Equipped with the MIP Aluminum Drivetrain, Steven pulled the fastest time all weekend long; along with the fastest lap time of 19.8, that’s three tenths faster than his single fastest lap time with steel components! Along with that impressiveness, Steven said that he noticed a considerable acceleration gain due to the dissipated weight along with zero power fade (common in stock racing). In Stock Truck, Steven used all aluminum MIP C-CVD™’s and was an impressive second faster per lap over the entire field! The rest of the team members all placed within the top three within their respective classes! Great Job Team and thank you for keeping MIP on top!
