Team Durango will be at the 2013 IFMAR World Championships in Chico, CA, in force! But just being there isn’t the big news…what is the big news is that while most of the other companies will be working out the bugs with their MM/RM (Mid-Motor/Rear-Motor) setups, TD has already invested a ton of time with their patented Hybrid Gearbox Technology.

Giving their Team drivers 4 (yes, FOUR) different chassis/transmission layouts, the Team has a huge advantage with weight distribution and traction on the sugar-coated track. If you’re not familiar with that, alot of tracks have been coating the racing surface with sugar, providing immense amount of grip. Not all the attending manufacturers have a proven MM setup yet, so this sugaring could definitely give the Durango cars an advantage. Only time will tell…

Starting Monday, Team Durango will be posting and updating race results on its Facebook page daily throughout the Worlds event.
