LAS VEGAS, NV; August 9, 2011 – The 2011 ROAR On-road Nationals were hosted by Jackson RC Raceway in Jackson, NJ. Despite the inclement weather with extreme heat, humidity and multiple thunderstorms, TPRC left the race with two championships. Thunder Power RC team driver Paul Lemieux swept the modified TC class with the Z3R™ 540 Brushless 4.0T motor, G6 Pro Race 65C battery and a TP610C. Also joining Paul on the modified TC class podium was fellow team driver, EJ Evans with a 3rd Place finish with the Z3R 540 4.5T motor, G6 Pro Race 65C series battery and TP820CD. Thunder Power RC was the power of choice with half the field opting for G6 Pro Race 65C series batteries, Z3R Brushless motors and chargers.

Thunder Power RC was also the force behind the Vintage Trans Am class Championship won by Michael Larcher with the Z3R Brushless 21.5T motor. Mike Haynes took the podium to claim his 2nd place finish in the 1/12th scale 13.5T utilizing the Z3R Brushless motor, G6 Pro Race 65C series battery and TP820CD. The common thread among all Thunder Power RC wins was the Z3R Brushless motor now known as the motor to have or be beaten by at tracks world-wide. Thunder Power RC congratulates all of our team drivers on their championships and podium wins!
