Remember, kickup also affect caster.

Navigation Arrow What is Kickup?

Kickup can be described as another form of Caster. While Caster is set by changing the Caster blocks, Kickup is changed by adjusting the angle of the front of the hinge pins on the front suspension arms. 0deg of Kickup would mean that the front inner hinge pins are completely level with the chassis; 2deg of Kickup would mean that the front inner hinge pins are angled 2deg higher than the chassis.

Changing the Kickup also affects Caster. For instance, if you have 2deg of Kickup and 2deg of Caster, you would really have 4deg of Caster. 0deg Kickup and 2deg of Caster would give you 2deg of total Caster, and so on.

Navigation Arrow Tuning with Kickup

0deg of Kickup will give the car a more aggressive steering feeling, but will not handle bumps well. 2deg of Kickup will handle bumps better and settle down the steering. Again, the end result will vary depending on how much Caster you are running.
