Team Associated has announced a unique (and actually, quite shocking) 1/28 Pro-Level ride, the TC28. This kit is an all-new ride that is 4WD, has independent front/rear suspension, fluid-filled gear diffs and can handle a full selection of individual, high-end electronics. It comes with wheels and a clear RadBody Mako X2 body shell!

What I Like:
1/28 scale is not a new thing, however it’s an interesting choice for a widely known company like AE to dive into. I love the idea, though, as it brings light to an up-and-coming small scale racing series. Plus, it’s AE – they have YEARS of experience in the TC world and can scale down what they know to dominate this segment.
What I’m Not Sure About:
Unfortunately, they didn’t make this an affordable entry car. It’s $330 – then add a servo, ESC, motor and battery and you’re looking at another $200 or so dollars – and that’s not including a radio system.
