For the month of October, Hasegawa has added 6 new car model kits – 2 Subarus, a Datsun, and a trio of Toyotas! Let’s take a quick look at each of these new kits.
The first kit is a 1993 Subaru Legacy RS, wearing a Rally livery from the same year RAC Rally event. It has an estimated 107 parts, is molded in 1/24 scale and comes with two sets of markings; No.10 Richard Burns and No.12 Alister McRae.

The next Subaru up is this cool looking little 1963 360, modeled after the 1st Japan GP C-I Class ride of that year. It has an estimated 68 parts, is 1/24 scale and comes with 3 livery options; No.5 (finishing 3rd in class), No.7 (finishing 7th in class) and No.6 (finished 6th in class).

This is easily one of my favorites – the Datsun Bluebird 1600 SSS (AKA, Datsun 510). This kit has an estimated 67 parts, is molded in 1/24 scale and has features like a chin spoiler, Japanese spec fender-mounted mirrors, Panasport-style wheels and lots of chrome-plated parts.

Another favorite is this Toyota 2000GT. This kit has an estimated 105 parts, is molded in 1/24 scale and features 2 liveries from the 1967 Fuji 24-Hour Race; No.2 (2nd place finisher) Tomohiko Tsutsumi/Hiroshi Fushida and No.1 (race winner) Shihomi Hosoya/Yoshio Otsubo.

The 2nd Toyota release is of the Trust Corolla Levin AE101. It is molded in 1/24 scale with an estimated 59 parts. It comes with a single livery, the Japan Touring Car Championship version – car No.19.

Finally, the Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD Grifone Rally ride. It has two liveries; No.19 (8th place finisher) Piero Longhi and No.14 Gilberto Pianezzola. It has an estimated 116 parts count and molded in 1/24 scale.
