Here’s a kit we can get into – the Italeri Toyota BJ44 Land Cruiser! This is a 1/24 scale version of the longest-living Japanese product with the J-40 being the best known version. This kit has some crazy detail including a single piece body shell with 2 top options – a hard top and faux soft top. The decal sheet includes optional license plates and some emblems.
What We Like:
This kit looks amazing and we love the dual-top option. The body shell look great too as does the wheels and tires.
What We’re Not Sure About:
We’d really like to see the parts trees molded in white. I get the black, but painting them requires a dual-step process – primer then paint. Having them in white just reduces the amount of primer needed to coat the parts.
