In the current state of things in the US, it’s pretty awesome to see a company like ARRMA coming out with something you can take some aggression out on – the Outcast 8S BLX 1/5 Stunt Truck!
This beast of a machine is huge, measuring 714mm long by 596mm wide. It it topped with a gorgeous old-school pickup body that features an aggressive front end, bulging fenders, plastic roof skids and a 1/8 scale-style rear wing. Beefy dBoots large-lug tires are wrapped around a set of composite stunt-truck wheels that have metal inserts to keep the hex from deforming under all that power. Red aluminum is everywhere for strength and the plastic parts are thick and well-engineered to survive some serious bashing.
Power comes from the Spektrum Firma ESC with Smart Technology, capable of handling up to a massive 8S LiPo power! Receiving the juice is a Spektrum 1250kV 4685 4-pole motor that has a unique 5mm shaft with an e-clip on the end to help keep the pinion in place. A Spektrum S905 1/5 scale servo controls the steering and a Spektrum DX3 controls, well, everything!
This is sure to be a brutally fast truck that will hopefully stand up to the abuse it’s about to be given – it DOES say Stunt Truck!
