ARRMA has dropped another 1/8 scale missile on us, the Vendetta. This 4WD BLX version rides on a familiar large-scale chassis and has features like anti-roll bars, oil-filled shocks and a HUGE rear double-diffuser.
The Spektrum electronics package is nice as well – DX3 radio system, Firma 3660 3900kV brushless motor, Firma 100a Smart brushless ESC and a SPMS651 digital servo, combined allowing the Vendetta to hit speeds over 70mph (on 3S and the optional pinion).
The body, wheels and tires are also new. dBoots Hoons Elevens are wrapped in all-road tires and the “aerodynamically-tuned Vendetta Speed Racer” body comes in two colors with a low and high downforce wing.
What We Like:
This. Looks. Fun. Love the general idea behind this car and the fact it car go REALLY fast on just 3S. Great electronics package with the option to upgrade (both electronics and parts). This should be a really fun car!
What We’re Not Sure About:
We do like the body shape but, damn, the color combinations are just not for us. We’re hoping clear bodies will be available for them soon.
