AVID RC Differential Thrust Bearing for Kyosho, Yokomo, and Tamiya

AVID RC has released their caged diff thrust bearing for three popular car brands; Kyosho, Yokomo and Tamiya. This caged bearing captures the diff thrust balls, making maintenance or rebuilds a super simple process. Plus, it helps prevent your hands from getting covered in black grease!

AVID offers 3 types of diff thrust for varying levels of cost, maintenance, and performance. The best option is equipped with super-hard tungsten carbide balls, providing a longer lasting, incredibly smooth diff. The second option included ceramic balls which are also incredibly hard but are typically geared towards racers due to the small adjustment window carbide offers. Finally, AVID offers a thrust setup with steel balls. These are the least expensive and easiest to set, but don’t have the longevity of the other options.
