Axial Racing has released the SCX10 III RTR with a killer new body set – the Jeep Gladiator JT!
This Ready to Run features all of the things we’ve come to love with the new III-Series crawler; AR45 portal axles, realistic metal-geared transmission, KMC beadlock wheels wrapped with Nitto Trail Grappler tires, fender liners and floor sides and, of course, the cool scale engine cover.
The beauty, though, resides in the new Jeep Gladiator JT body. It is precision molded to capture all the details of the real rig and includes external add-ons like fenders, mirrors, door handles, windshield wipers, rock guards and a neat bed rack that has provisions for attaching scale parts.
This truck has strayed away from the traditional separate ESC/receiver setup and comes loaded with Spektrum’s Firma Smart 4-channel ESC/Receiver unit, a single-piece system that includes dedicated LED power connectors, integrates SMART tech and a waterproof housing.
The JT comes in two colors – red and grey – and both have some amazing features included in the kit. I’ve been mulling the idea of getting one of these and now that it comes with the Gladiator body, I think it has gone to the top of the list.
