We’ve been seeing these lightweight wheels pop up on the Boom Racing FB page and have to say we were intrigued. The idea is to be able to completely customize your wheels however you want, including crazy options like a clear center piece! This makes these wheels perfect for those that want a true custom look while allowing you to match your paint scheme or a certain style.

What We Like:
The idea is quite brilliant – being able to customize every facet allows you to actually tune your ride with the wheels while still retaining a very custom look.
What We’re Not Sure About:
One thing we’re not sure about is the ‘lightweight’ part of it. Most drivers like heavier wheels to help plant the trucks during ascents or descents. Now, I’m not 100% sure but if those lightweight ‘pockets’ in the internal ring could be filled with matching brass weights, then Boom just might be on to something!
