Dinky RC Apex-1 V2 Pro Chassis Kit | CompetitionX

Dinky RC Apex-1 V2 Pro Chassis Kit | CompetitionX

Looking for a new crawler project that’s quite a bit different than anything else out there? Check out the Apex-1 V2 Pro chassis kit from Dinky RC!

This kit is a fabricated from both Delrin and 3D printed parts. It is designed for a 10.5″ wheelbase and works with the Axial 3-gear transmission and your choice of axles. A custom motor plate allows use of a 380-sized (or similar) motor as well as a 830mAh 3S LiPo pack.

Here’s what comes in the kit:
• Apex-1 Rock Buggy Cage
• Delrin chassis plates and shock towers
• Mini “Ultra Skid”
• 3D-Printed battery compartment
• 3D-Printed rear electronics tray
• Custom 380 sized motor plate
• Lexan sheet with body templates
• Chassis, cage, and body mounting hardware

The chassis is also available in a multitude of colors: black, grey, yellow, red, green, white and pink.

What We Like:
We absolutely LOVE the look of this thing, for one! We’re also loving the minimalistic size. Would love to give one of these a go for sure!!!

What We’re Not Sure About:
We get it’s a kit and you have to supply your own running gear – part of the deal – however we do wish it could be set up to run on a 540 motor instead of a pee-pee 380. The 380 motor seems a bit limiting to the amount of fun you could potentially have with this rig.
