Element RC Enduro Trailwalker Black RTR | CompetitionX

Element RC Enduro Trailwalker Black RTR | CompetitionX

The team over at Element RC have introduced a new trail truck under the Enduro title – the Trailwalker Black RTR.

Now the Trailwalker Black is your typical Enduro truck complete with all the fixin’s that make this truck great – BTA steering, StealthX gearbox, full compliment of Reedy electronics and the TW body set.

However, what’s new with this kit is the Scratch ‘N Weather matte black finish. The body is pre-painted with a rust color covered with flat black and, through daily use (or some self-inflicted sanding), the top layer can be weathered off to give the TW a worn and scratched look. Very cool!

What We Like:
We all know the Element Enduro platform is excellent – AE really did their homework when designing this truck. However, what we’re really interested in is the Scratch ‘N Weather body set! It’s a really cool idea and something that, after some use, will give your rig battle scars that are completely your own – no one else will have the same look!

What We’re Not Sure About:
We think the Scratch ‘N Weather is a great idea, but it might prompt Element to have to release additional bodies with the same look to help expand their line up.
