Exotek F1ULTRA Lightweight F1 Body | CompetitionX

Exotek F1ULTRA Lightweight F1 Body | CompetitionX

Exotek has announced a new body set designed specifically for their stellar F1ULTRA Formula 1 car. It comes clear and includes a polycarbonate head, decal sheet and instruction sheet.

What We Like:
When you have a proprietary vehicle, it makes sense to release a bodyset that is designed specifically FOR that car – nothing generic that you have to ‘make’ fit. We love the smaller side pods with airflow channels to help guide air up and over the rear wing. The .7mm polycarbonate is great for a lightweight design and the lightweight helmet is also a cool addition (however you can use standard helmet as well).

What We’re Not Sure About:
If you love the styling but want to use it on something other than the F1ULTRA, you may have to do some additional trimming. That could mean opening unsightly holes or trimming off parts of the body you want. There’s many other options available out there that are generic, so just be prepared for some modification if you plan on using this outside the Exotek family.
