What is an Inline Axle?
Inline Axles are just what the term implies … the Axle is Inline with the Kingpin.
This is usually an optional steering setup and requires the use of a different Axles (in most cases) and different steering blocks.
Tuning with an Inline Axle
Inline Axles are optional on most offroad vehicles. When used, they provide a much more aggressive steering feeling into and out of corners.
As with the Trailing Axles, some vehicles use spacers to move the steering block/caster block assembly forward or rearward. While using Inline Axles, you will need to space the steering block/caster block assembly rearward.
