Tamiya Wild One Blockhead Motors Buggy Video Build
Tamiya’s new Wild One Offroader Blockhead Motors Edition has finally dropped and we got our hands on one of the pre-production units!
We’ve been sitting on this for awhile simply because the kits were waiting on the ESC – a NEW ESC that is a collaboration between Tamiya and Hobbywing. This kit comes with the HW 1060, a brushed ESC that is fully waterproof and includes features like a adjustable (external) jumpers to modify some parameters, standard Tamiya-colored wiring and a rather small footprint!
In this video we crack open the box, showing you everything that comes in it as well as some more details on the ESC.
Enjoy the video.
UNBOXING VIDEO
Tamiya Wild One Blockhead Motors Buggy Video Build – Part 1
Welcome everyone to Part 1 of the Tamiya Wild One Blockhead Motors Edition Video Buggy Build.
The Blockhead Motors edition Wild One is a fairly simple build, not having a large parts count or any really complicated steps. There are a couple tricks to make the build easier, which we show you in this video series.
In this video, we talk a little about the suggested tools you’ll need as well as the electronics package we’ll be using. We also dive into the build, assembling the front front suspension and shocks.
After one video it’s already starting to look so very cool!
Tamiya Wild One Blockhead Motors Buggy Video Build – Part 2
Welcome back to the Tamiya Wild One Blockhead Motors Edition Video Buggy Build. In Part 2 of this Series we work on the rear end of the car – the suspension, shocks, gearbox and roll cage assembly.
We’re used to high end racing vehicle builds on this channel so it’s been super fun (and a welcome change) working on a more basic ride. There’s something that has to be said for a simple Tamiya build.
Ok, enough chatter. Let’s get to the build.
Tamiya Wild One Blockhead Motors Buggy Video Build – Part 3
Hey everyone and welcome to Part 3 of the Tamiya Wild One Blockhead Motors Edition Buggy Build.
In this video – the final video – we finish off our build by installing the electronics, wheels and tires, final assembly parts and decaling up the pre-painted body.
This has been one super fun build and a nice departure from all the race stuff – a simple, easy build! That and, of course, it looks amazing!
Anyway, thanks for watching the build series and as always, enjoy the video!
