Exotek F1ULTRA Formula 1 Video Build
Exotek is known for their awesome line of aftermarket goodies for quite a few different vehicle brands, however they’ve released their first ever full-car kit – the F1ULTRA.
This is a 1/10 scale Formula 1 kit that has some pretty crazy-cool features that not only make it unique on the bench, but also a stellar performer on the track.
Before we get to the online video build, let’s unbox this ride and see what comes in the kit.
UNBOXING VIDEO
Exotek F1ULTRA Formula 1 Video Build – Part 1
In Part 1 of this multi-part build series, we’ll be starting our video build of the Exotek Racing F1ULTRA Formula 1 car.
This video covers the front suspension as well as piecing together the unique carbon fiber/aluminum chassis plates.
Enjoy the video.
Exotek F1ULTRA Formula 1 Video Build – Part 2
In Part 2 of our Exotek F1ULTRA video build, we assemble the rear end of the car – the pod, motor mounts, rear axle and ingenious wing mount.
The build has gone together quite well for this being Exotek’s first full car kit and we’re really looking forward to Parts 3 and 4!
Enjoy the video.
Exotek F1ULTRA Formula 1 Video Build – Part 3
In Part 3 of our Exotek F1ULTRA video build, we get to one thing and one thing only – the shocks!
The F1Ultra uses a single center shock with a unique internal spring to help with forward bite on the car. But that’s not the only thing this F1 car has – it also has a patent-pending rear suspension system that utilizes a pair of mini shocks to control side-to-side damping. It’s a pretty crazy-cool setup that works extremely well.

Exotek F1ULTRA Formula 1 Video Build – Part 4
In Part 4 of our Exotek F1ULTRA video build, I’ll be installing the shocks, battery tray, servo and wheels and tires. While not quite to this point in the manual yet (and because I really wanted to see how the car will look), I also installed the included front and rear wings.
