Fantom MVS 5.0 PRO LiHV LiPo Battery Packs
Fantom Racing has announced a brand new series of LiHV battery packs – the MVS 5.0 PRO. These packs are in the ‘Graphene’ line and tout a lower IR, higher sustained voltage and a flatter discharge curve, great for more consistent power delivery throughout a run. All come with 5mm bullet plugs and are ROAR approved.

What I Like:
Just when you thought the LiPo battery couldn’t get any better – LiHV, HUGE storage sizes and more power – all crammed into standard (and shorty and mid-sized) packs. I also like that Fantom takes Affirm! LOL Makes buying new packs much easier.
What I’m Not Sure About:
We all know that the ‘C’ numbers on RC LiPo batteries aren’t necessarily real, so it would be interesting to see how these packs stack up to what’s currently out there. I do think, though, that the larger capacities are attractive to those that love to bash more than race.
