Ovalwerks 2026 Resurgent Rubber Tire Kit
US-based manufacturer Ovalwerks has announced the Resurgent Rubber Tire Kit, an 2026-updated ride that sports some new upgrades for rubber tire competition. The biggest update is the new chassis with the rear aluminum crossbrace moved forward, allowing more space between the rubber tire and the ESC. There is also a new carbon battery locator that includes more adjustment. The rest of the kit remains unchanged.
A foam-tire version of this new setup is coming soon.

What I Like:
Back in the day, I really enjoyed oval racing. It’s fast, precise and requires a well-handling car to produce winning results. However, back in those same days, the chassis’ didn’t look this awesome! If you have an Oval track near you, the Resurgent looks like something that would definitely win races!
What I’m Not Sure About:
I’m not a big rubber-tire oval guy – I’d skip the rubber-tire version and wait for the foam.
