Hobbywing has raised the bar for Spec-class racing with the introduction of the XeRun V10 G5 Brushless Motor, a next-generation sensored motor engineered to deliver more power, greater efficiency and enhanced tuning precision.
Built on an all-new performance platform for 1/10 and 1/12-scale competition, the V10 G5 offers a 3.9% increase in maximum output power and more than a 4% improvement in heavy-load efficiency over its predecessor. Available in Standard and Torque versions for both the 21.5T and 25.5T versions, racers can tailor motor characteristics to suit everything from large, low-grip layouts to tight, high-traction tracks.
Premium features include an advanced cooling design with exposed windings and a patented rotor cooling system, adjustable Hall sensor timing and sensing distance, lightweight construction with optimized weight distribution, a modular design for simplified maintenance and premium internal components built to withstand the demands of competitive racing.

What I Like:
Hobbywing has always been a favorite of mine, mostly for crawling. These new motors, though, look amazing and, if they specs are right, are going to be the motor to beat in the Spec-class racing!
What I’m Not Sure About:
The price you pay to win (for motors) is getting expensive…
