RC Setup Order Guide | Proper RC Suspension Tuning Sequence
Setting up an RC car correctly is one of the most important steps in achieving consistent handling and faster lap times. Many suspension and chassis adjustments affect one another, which means changing settings in the wrong order can lead to inaccurate measurements and unpredictable performance on the track.
This RC Suspension Tuning Guide explains the proper sequence for making adjustments such as Ride Height, Droop, Camber, Toe, Track Width and Tweak.
The first table instructs which items need to be attached or detached for proper setup while the second table instructs which tools to use for each adjustment.
Note: Tweak should be done once with the Anti-Roll Bars detached, then again with the attached.
