Tekno ET48 2.0 E-Truggy Video Build

It’s finally here – Tekno RC’s ET48 2.0 1/8 Competition Truggy Kit. We were lucky enough to get our hands on one and, in this video, remove all the contents from the box for you to see what comes inside!

This is an exciting release for Tekno as this new truck features alot of updates to help make it handle better on track. These updates include some features from the current line of 2.0 rigs; new diffs, bulkheads and suspension geometry!

Keep an eye out for the upcoming online build series of this truck! We’ll also be installing a full set of competition electronics, however we’re not quite sure what we’ll be using just yet. More on that to come!

Tekno ET48 2.0 E-Truggy Video Build – Part 1

In Part 1 of this multi-part build series, we take you through the opening steps required to build the Tekno RC ET48 2.0 1/8 Scale E-Truggy. We’ll introduce you to the car and list the tools needed (and suggested) to build this truggy. We’ll also take you through the beginning steps of the build by assembling all 3 differentials.

In Part 2 of this multi-part Tekno ET48 2.0 build series, we take you through the steps of building the entire front clip – bulkhead, anti-roll bar and suspension. To complete the entire front end, we do have to skip around the manual a bit but it seems to make more sense building it this way.

In Part 3 of this multi-part Tekno ET48 2.0 build series, we take you through the steps of building the entire rear clip – bulkhead, anti-roll bar and suspension. Since we skipped around a bit in Part 2 (as far as bag builds), we’ll be getting ourselves back on track as far as the bags are concerned.

Tekno ET48 2.0 E-Truggy Video Build – Part 4

In Part 4 of our Tekno RC ET48 2.0 build series, we assemble the steering system, attach it to the front clip and add that to the chassis. We’ll also be installing the rear clip to the chassis as well as the center bulkhead, center diff and front/rear drive shafts.

Tekno ET48 2.0 E-Truggy Video Build – Part 5

Part 5 of our Tekno RC ET48 2.0 build series is all about the shocks – the build of the front and rear dampers as well as installation. It’s a pretty simple step, especially since Tekno’s shocks are easy to build and incredibly smooth!

I’m starting with the kit supplied fluids and springs for now but may need to switch them around a bit depending on track conditions.

Welcome to Part 6 of the Tekno ET48 2.0 online build. This is the final video in this Series where we wrap up the build – the final assembly bits, body, rear wing, wheels, tires and electronics.

In the first part of the video we finalize the build without the electronics, getting you familiar with how the Truggy goes together. We move to the electronics section at the end of the video – a more generic section based on the electronics you might have.
