Tamiya’s Blackfoot-style transmission is used in quite a few different vehicles – Super Beetle, Monster Beetle and Mud Blaster to name a few. It’s a popular drivetrain and, with the re-issue of some of these rides, has some aftermarket companies taking notice. One of those is MIP, and they’ve come out with a new differential …

It’s easy to see why people love the Tamiya’s Blackfoot so much; that hard plastic body is a beauty. The guys over at Rogue Element Components, however, think it can be better … and I’ll have to say they’re new Drop-Bed Kit is pretty sexy! It starts with a with multiple pieces of pre-cut Styrene, …

Making More Memories in 2016 Ok, a show of hands; how many people reading this owned an original Tamiya Blackfoot? I can imagine quite a few of you put your hands up; the Blackfoot is one of the most iconic vehicles ever produced. I had an original one back in 1990 – there’s a nice …

Exciting news from the Tamiya camp is the 2016 re-release of their infamous Blackfoot Monster Truck! It’s been modernized a bit but still features the classis Ford, hard-body shell while riding on the 2015 Monster Beetle chassis. The familiar red space frame is used along with the double wishbone front suspension and trailing arm rear …
