Tamiya Dune Beetle Cross Kit
Tamiya has wowed the crowds with the release of the new Dune Beetle Cross! While it does look familiar, it is not a re-do from the BBX (BB-01), it’s actually on the BB-02 chassis and only shares a few things from the 01.
The feature list includes:
• 1/9 scale kit with two different front end specs: double trailing arm front suspension (width: 204mm) or double wishbone front suspension (width: 225mm)
• Newly designed 1.0mm thick polycarbonate VW Beetle body recreates is race-oriented and features bulging front and rear fenders and removed rear engine hood
• Internal roll cage that ties the chassis together for better rigidity
• Includes a full set of LED light pods – 6 up front, 2 in the rear (taillights) (LED lights sold separately)
• Interior with two new female driver figures
• Realistic details such as window net, fire extinguisher, steering wheel and engine parts

What I Like:
Ya, this thing looks amazing! I love that Tamiya didn’t just drop a new body on the BBX and call it a day, but went that extra mile to create one heck of a good looking ride. And – it drives SOOOOOOOO good. I can’t wait to get the lights installed and get to driving!
