The RC Racer TT-02F FWD Conversion Kit
The FWD class looks really fun, however one of the biggest hurdles of getting into this class is the cost of the FWD car. Well, the guys (or guy) over at The RC Racer has come up with a REALLY inexpensive project to help eliminate that cost – take a Tamiya TT-02 and turn it into a F(WD)!
This project (one that I’m working on with their solution) involves some 3D printing and a donor TT-02. Combine the parts, add any upgrades you might want and BAM – you have yourself a TT-02F.

What I Like:
It really is a brilliant idea and, if it works well, a solid solution to getting into FWD on a budget. I mean, really, EVERYONE has a TT-02 (some people more than 1). It also looks quite professional as well!
What I’m Not Sure About:
A full set of upgrades for the TT-02 might just bring you in close to what an off-the-shelf FWD might cost.
