Tamiya TA08 Pro Touring Car Video Build
A new competition level Touring Car from Tamiya has dropped – the TA08. This ground-up design has some interesting features – a narrow, Stepped-V chassis that helps eliminate chassis touchdown during hard cornering, a dual-belt design, Super Short Big Bore shocks, double A-Arm suspension and even includes a few TRF420 parts!
In this video, we crack open the box to give you a look at what comes inside as well as some info on the support parts we’ll be using – a full compliment of R1 gear!

It’s a pretty easy step however there are a few things you need to do to take full advantage of the performance level of these shocks, so keep that in mind when you get to this step of the build.

Tamiya TA08 Pro Video Build – Part 5
Welcome to Part 5 of the Tamiya TA08 Pro online video build. We wrap up this build with the installation of the electronics, wheels and tires and some additional final assembly parts.
There are some things to note: 1) there’s not much room on the chassis for electronics so you’ll need to test fit your items prior to final mounting. 2) the body mounts are directional, allowing you to mount the body either 2mm forward or 2mm back. This is a cool feature that lets you adjust the handling of the body without having to drill new holes. Just make sure you match the left/right and front/back mounts.
